Has anyone considered maining D.D.Crow?

Post  OpenFaceSurgery on 2012-02-10, 11:37

What top tier deck does not rely on graveyard control? Inzektors and wind-ups are crippled if you remover hornet or hunter(much more so than effect veiler/maxx c which are stalls at best) and for situations where it's not needed it can counter call of the haunted and monster reborn, furthermore it's a dark in the grave, although most decks don't need it.

Just curious if this is actually a viable idea or not.

Irl it works fine.

On DN i find way too many rogue decks for it to get it's full use and prefer veilers and maxx's.

Siding it is better cause it becomes a dead draw many times but it may just be my luck

I prefer to side it when I need it ^__^ but i don't think it would hurt really having it...

Totally agree, DN is a different Meta then irl! Irl you can main them and have a lot of advantage, in DN there are enough decks that don't rely on the Graveyard.
I'll put 2 in my Side always though.

I never really have room for Crow. Only main him if you are going to an event where you know maining him will net you some form of advantage/disruptive play.

I main one in my Light & Dark Beatdown deck because it's Dark and for discarding either as a cost or its effect. Probably best to side it, but seeing as you don't know what you could be facing on DN (and who knows if there'll be a round two or not), but it works pretty well.

And I needed one more monster in the grave for Pot of Avarice and my opponents stratagy was already torn a sunder (Exodia Necross deck), s dumping it for Avarice wasn't a bad idea.

And I main one in my Harpie (more like Harpie, Blackwing, Gusto, and Mist Valley) deck because it's Dark, so it can go towards Dark Armed Dragon and its effect which is always nice 'cause Harpies really need all the help they can get.

First, never underestimate Inzecter duelist. 2nd, Dimensional Fissure shut down Veiler/Maxx/D.D. Crow/Honest/Herald. This is also the reason why No Inzecter Topped 2 in lastest YCS (no Dimensional Fissure in their deck nor Side). Banish 1 of 9 Inzecters mean u'll get OTK, banish 3 of them then u safe.

for D.D. Crow: I main 2 in my Chaos Piper Relinquished. Because it is DARK and Lv1, means BLS/Chaos Sorc fodder and +1 from Piper. the rest just stay in Side
